Anyone have any opinions on G&L guitars. THey're apparently a Leo Fender Company. Any thoughts, Good or bad?

G&L destroys fender in quality IMO.

mainly what happened is leo got fired/quit fender, and went on and kept on evolving the guitars he started making with g & l. i like some of them better then fenders, like the comanchee is an awsome guitar. just my $.02.

Actually what happened was in the mid 60's Leo sold Fender to CBS. He spent a short time with Music Man and started G&L in the 70's.

G&L's are pretty sweet. I like them MUCH more than Fender's...Leo is the man
