For Sale: DM3MD

Unread post by Festivus » Mon Dec 12, 2005 9:30 am

I hope nobody minds that I'm starting a new thread for this....
I've decided to sell the DM3MD. Yes, I've only had it for a very short time, but the dog has Parvo, and the bills are out of hand.
So, as painful as it is, it is time to let go. I could copy and paste the info that Martin has on thier website, but I am assuming that everyone here knows the guitar, and is already familiar with how sweet it is. The guitar is #104 of 234 made, and is in Mint Condition. It doesn't even have any pick marks. Naturally it comes with the plush Martin hardshell case. The case has some small white scuff marks that were there when I recieved it.
I paid $4250 for it. I'm asking $4000 (with shipping and insurance included). If your in the Eastern PA area, i will gladly set up a meeting point in the middle so that I can hand it over personally.

That has to be painful and I wish I could help you out. I'd be doing the same thing.

Man, I am sorry you have to sell it. I know you need money, probably quick too, but I think you are selling it a bit too low (particularly if you are throwing in shipping and insurance).

Good luck with your dog....you do have your priorities in the right place.

For those of you that want the specs on this guitar, they are towards the bottom of this thread:

Thanks so much for posting the specs

It is a low price. So i'm hoping that will make it more enticing. This guitar is only going to go up in value. It's a great find

Hey, thanks to everyone that sent my dog well wishes. His virus was pretty severe, but it looks like he's out of the woods! :D I found a guy on the Acoustic Guitar Forum that I think has proposed a decent trade (plus cash). Thanks again everyone!

I posted pics for him over at AGF, so I thought I would do it here too (these are pics of his guitar):
