12 string guitar?

i'm looking for a good 12 stringer for less than $1000, suggestions? i've played a seagull one and it was ok, but i wasnt greatly impressed with it.

the martin d12x1 looks good, looks a lot like my dcx1e, and i love my dcx1e :)

go with Takamine or Alvarez. They are good sounding guitars for lower price. The Takamine is was looking at before was around 600.

not sure of the Alvarez model i was looking at but just looking in musicians friend there is the Alvarez AJ60S and AJ60SC available in 12-string.

nevermind, i've decided to get an electric guitar instead, i'm looking at a few of gibsons right now, the lp special with humbuckers or the vintage mahogany, or the hawk

anyone played any of these?
