Sup y'all.
Been playing around 3 years, just acoustics so far. I have a takamine G240 (my first guitar) and a Martin DX1. Right now my Takamine is tuned in open G so I can jam out on some cat turned blue by rusted root, but it fluctuates between that and standard/down 1 full step.
my DX1 is basically always tuned standard so I can play the rest of my repetoire.
what I want is to be able to mess around with looping, delay pedals, etc. so, I realize that for this I need an amp, and a pickup. my questions are:
1) setup = amp, pickup, DL4, anything else I need?
2) should I get a soundhole mic or wait until I actually get a decent acoustic electric to try and pull this off? also I can get a mic that would also act as the end of the strapholder since my DX1 is missing that piece as of right now. but that wouldn't be as portable. installing a pickup isn't really an option on the DX1, I'd rather just get a real wood acoustic-electric at that point and
3) if I ever want to plug a Boss DD6 into the mix, would that just be like another cable or two added in?
4) how would I send the output signal to my computer for recording if I wanted to do that?
5) how does singing factor into recording? can I record the guitar through the computer directly, and then the singing through a mic? or do I need a mic that will plug into the amp and it all sends one signal
Sorry for the very uneducated questions, as you can see I'm new to this whole deal

re: Mic'ing my guitar
after that, could I run it through a DL4 and have it sound at least decent?
