let me start by saying this, I don't know anything about amplifying an acoustic guitar....
I have a Taylor 314ce with ES and was thinking it might be fun to have a "Cheap" amp to screw around with. Would something like this fit the bill http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=h ... id/480134/ ?
And another stupid question...Is amplifying your guitar as easy as plugging the amp into the wall, plugging one end of the cable into the amp and plugging the other end into the Guitar???
Thanks for the help.

Re: Acoustic Amp???
Yes, it's that simple. Running a PA (which many will argue sounds better) is more complex. But amp set-ups are simple.CWMCALL wrote:And another stupid question...Is amplifying your guitar as easy as plugging the amp into the wall, plugging one end of the cable into the amp and plugging the other end into the Guitar???
I can't help you with that particular amp, but just remember, you get what you pay for.
I have the same guitar, and IMO it would be like putting cheap gas in a Ferrari. You should look around at used gear. Every Guitar Center or local shop has used stuff. You might be surprised what you can find for $200-300.
I have one of these and it is nice. Fits right in that 200-300 range, its worth it. I have a 414ce i use on it and its a lot better plugged in.
