Mandolin - SOLD
Guitar Case - SOLD
Updated: Thanks for the link to ImageShack... I'm in the process of adding pictures for all items... check back frequently.) The black guitar was tough to photograph... it doesn't take the flash well. All the little 'glitter' marks are just tiny particle specs being picked up by the flash.
The neck width on the Michael Kelly is 1 11/16".
The neck width on the Avante seems to be between 1 11/16" and 1 3/4".
The Michael Kelly is a solid general use instrument. It's about two years old and in superb condition. Good action, easily playability. I played it for about a year, until I got my Taylor 514ce. I'm traveling a lot for work now and I take my Taylor with me on the road. I'd recommend the guitar to anyone looking for their first guitar, or even as a primary instrument for anyone looking that doesn't have $600-650+ to get in the market on a Taylor 310 or Martin D-15. The black painted maple looks beautiful (Taylor 600-like). The soundhole is quite nice too. The Grover tuners are identical to those used on Martins and Taylors (up until about 2 years ago, when Taylor started to brand their own tuners) Most importantly, the sound is superb.
Regarding the Baritone, it's a great instrument to branch out from a standard guitar with. For those of you that aren't familiar, a baritone guitar is tuned B-B, 5 half-steps lower than a standard tuned guitar. You can't do this with a regular guitar. On the baritone, the scale is longer than a regular guitar (to hold intonation), and the strings are thicker. A few DMB songs, like "The Space Between" are played with an acoustic baritone. About a year ago, I posted a transposed version of "Grace is Gone" that I recorded with this guitar.

Hey everyone,
I'm selling guitars #3 and #4 to the dmbtabs community as well as a mandolin and electric guitar case. You can search through my post history to see guitars #1 (Taylor 310) and #2 (MK Custom) that I've sold on here at VERY reasonable prices to very happy buyers. BigSpeen bought one and RantingThespian bought the other.
#3 - I have a black spruce and curly maple Michael Kelly acoustic. It comes with a hardshell case and I also installed an active soundhold pickup. Top is solid spruce. Abalone soundhole rosette, Grove tuners. $275 + $40 shipping.
#4 - I have a spruce and mahogany Avante Acoustic Baritone. It has a Fishman pickup installed. Solid spruce top. Two sets of La Bella acoustic baritone strings. Acoustic baritones are hard to come by... I had to seek this one out. No case, but I can ship with an extra gig bag that I have. $450 + $40 shipping.
Mandolin - Franciscan, sunburst color w/ case. Honestly, I don't know much about mandos, I got this as a gift and never played it. It's used, probably 10-20 years old. $50 + $20 shipping.
Electric guitar case. Brown with purple fuzzy interior. $20. Updated: Pick-up or drop off only... it not worth it for me to box and ship.
I live in Pittsburgh but travel a lot for work to the Maryland/DC/Va/Philly/Delaware area. If a serious buyer is interested, I may be able to meet up with you in these areas.
Thanks!
Eddy
