Epiphone Sheraton II.. thoughts?

Unread post by Trippin Hillbilly » Fri Sep 02, 2005 8:33 am

Hey guys, I played this guitar today and was pretty blown away. It really sounded amazing. Anyone tried it or know of anything that I should look out for? I normally dont like epiphones but damn this thing sounded good.

I'm going to go play about a 100 other guitars before I buy it so I don't want to hear any of that...try as many as possible ladeeedaaa

I played one that I was considering strongly until I saw a monster crack running from one of the F holes. Probably not a widespread thing among all of them, that's all I have though.

Here's another one to consider.

Never played either guitar, but both look to be quality axes. My dad has a gibson 335, and while it's obviously of higher quality than both of these guitars combined, it's the most amazing sounding guitar i've ever heard. So i'd imagine both of these guitars have to sound good.

I dunno. Eric Krasno from Soulive plays a high end 335 style artcore though.
