Cant decide which Martin 15 to get

Unread post by erikro » Tue Aug 16, 2005 4:35 pm

I am going to get a Martin 15 series and cant decide which one. I like the 000-15 for the body size but MF has two limited edition d-15's. They both have spruce tops, one has a mahogany body, the other a rosewood. Of course there is the standard d-15 also. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks
Erik

I have the standard all mahogany D-15 and I love it. It has a very "woody" and "bassy" sound....I think that it is the one guiar that I will always hold on to.

I ended up getting the spruce top with mahogany body. Total was $699.99 which is $100 less than the other 15 series models. I figured I cant go wrong for that price.
