BUZZ FEITEN TUNING SYSTEM

Unread post by djwhd28 » Wed Aug 10, 2005 2:23 pm

Hey all. Has anyone heard of this tuning system? It claims to keep your guitar completely in tune no matter where on the frets you are. It appears to involve some add-on modifications to the nut, the bridge and a special electric tuning system.

I know that playing way up on the neck, even on my HD-28, i'm pushing and pulling a little bit to keep the intonation right throughout a song, but I'm VERY leary of modifying anything on my guitar if I don't know what it's all about. They've got some serious players listed as having adopted this system, but you never REALLY know.

Anyone with an experience or knowledge of this, please jump in. Thanks in advance.

i dont know how it is for guitar, but any bass can be easily set up to have perfect intonation as long as the neck isn't warped
