Line 6 variax 700 acoustic guitar

Unread post by captainp4 » Sun Jul 31, 2005 3:59 pm

I searched and didn't find anything..

I've been playing this guitar when I've gone to guitar center the last few times and i'm really thinking about getting it. It models 12 different instruments fairly well. It's 1200 dollars and it doesn't look half bad either.

Does anyone here have any experience or opinions on this guitar? 1200 is a lot of money to me and i don't want to waiste it if this thing turns out to be a turd.

I have to get going now, i appreciate any responses, thanks guys,
-paul

if you like it, obviously, go with it
but i would never get any kind of "modeler" because from my experiences, the more features those kinds of things have, they worse they do each one

but i've never played this or any line 6 guitar, i know that line 6 makes some kick ass gear, so if you like it, get it

I played this at GC too. I thought it would be a really useful recording tool. You could dub banjo, 12er, mando, all on your recordings, and they sound really good. I say go for it.

i just played it yesterday at my local guitar shop i thought it was pretty sick. the strait up no effect sounded pretty good, def kinda electricy. def cool for layering some cool stuff.

Anyone interested in a brass or silver trumpet or an Ibanez Iceman ic400?
