ISO: Chet Atkins SST TRC

Unread post by GrateDMB21 » Thu Jul 28, 2005 6:27 pm

Wondering if anyone had an extra Gibson Chet Atkins SST TRC laying around. You know the TRC that says "Chet Atkins" on the side of it. The one I have now is severly bent. I bought it USED and cant figure out what the original owner did to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried emailing Gibson, but no luck. I'll try and give them a call tonight and see what they say. Thanks!

go to a music shop that has one.
bring a small screwdriver.
go into the room and play it for a few minutes, when no one is around unscrew it. but leave it on. it should still stick on there a little. Or just set it on a cabinet.
leave the store without it.
have your friend come in right after you and pocket it.

hell, if yours is just bent, bring it in and swap it. make it look like you are tuning it. have a little adhesive on yours and make the swap fast.
Just have it unscrewed, reach in your pocket and swap em fast.
then your friend can buy the SST for cheaper cause its got a fucked up TRC. ;)
