A Sweet Suprise
A Sweet Suprise
ok so...i was looking around in my basement looking for sumthing and a stumbled accross a guitar case, thinking to my self "i dont have any other guitars". so i open it up to find this guitar

well not that exact one but u get the point
its a original 1965 Epiphone Casino, model #E230TD
apparantly it was my step dads way back in the day when he was in a band, and luckily enuff he said i could have it, he hasnt palyed guitar for years. since it hasnt been palyed much the only physical damage is a few nicks in the headstock thats all, its jsut really old. so basicaly ive got two questions:
1. What could this guitar be worth
2. what can i do do improve this guitar's preformance since it is so old. obviously first thing i must do is change the strings, even though they are terribly old they dont sound all that bad right now, im hoping thats a sign that it will be even better with new strings. but any other suggestions
thanks

ya i know i was amazed too, cuz as of right now i have only two guitars: a 4 year old Ibanez aw100 acoustic (sucks) and a Fender Squire Strat (sucks), and the one i jsut found
i found it and i was like "holy shit what is this" and my mom came running down cuz she thought i had hurt my self or sumthing. im excited to get it restrung and set up so i can here what this baby has to show
