Ovation 2002 Collector's Edition

Hey everyone,

Has anyone ever owned or played one of these? If you have, could you please offer a review of it. I've never played one, but have been struck by its beautiful African Cherry top and would love to get one. I play a Taylor 414ce right now, and would like to know how it compares. Thanks for the info.

yeah, my friend's dad has that guitar. as you said, it looks great and it sounds pretty good too. (plugged in, that is) IMO, if i were to spend 1200 bucks i would buy something else. (thats what he paid for his) i just don't like ovations because of their round back. they are awkward as hell when your just sitting around and jammin. eventually you just need to stumble across one in a guitar store and play it yourself. if you are really serious about a new axe purchase, the best advice is play'em all and buy what you like. (and can afford)
