multi-effects processors

im looking into buying a multi effects unit. I am currently looking at the Boss me-50. Does anyone have any experience with this product that would provide them with some insight in its pros/cons? perhaps a suggestion on a different type of effects unit.

I've got a friend with the ME-50, and I think its pretty nice. If I were to go with a multi effects unit that would be the one I chose, however I'm not a big fan of multi effects and reccomend single effects.

ya, single effects are better, but im pretty much just looking for a bang for my buck here. im thinkin im gonna go with the me-50 and then get a dunlop crybaby in addition.
