hes being cynical and i mean that ive played through a kustom PA system, about that size, dont know what model though and it sounds pretty good.

well ussually it is the purpose of an amp to make noise...

seriously tho: it wont hurt your sound but an amp from shoreline or a nice pa is better

im not a fan of any Kustom products. buying that would be like buying a high end Carlo Robelli.

id agree with praisedave about shoreline. theres several good acoustic amps out there, like the SWR strawberry blonde, or the Marshall AS50R.

however the best acoustic tone will always be gotten by mic'ing your guitar into a PA system.

not always pheasable or the best choice
