Line 6 ---Does anybody use?

Unread post by DropD-MB » Tue Apr 01, 2003 1:34 pm

Hey,

I am buying a Line 6 (looping, Sampling, effects) and was wondering if anybody else uses one. If so can I have your opinion on it as far as "ease of use" and it's limits. I will also be getting a DD-5 to play along with the Line 6...Does anybody do that? Anyway, any feedback would be great. Thanks

The line 6 dl4? there are many products made by line 6 so you have to be more specific...it seems like you are describing the dl4...

It's great....and you'll have the hang of it the day you get it...and I have a dd5 to use with it...i can get some great things going on with them....

I say....they are worth it to get them...

Peace,

I dont know if this will help, but my roommate uses a line6 flextone II plus for his electric, and that thing is amazing. It has effects for days...almost too many. Its a really good amp, but without a pedal set you couldnt navigate through the effects to save your life. There's just too many. But to go along with the earlier post, line 6 makes a bunch of shit, so you'd have to be more specific.

Yeah i have a DL4 as well and it is freakin awesome. It has any kind of delay sound sould want to make, as well as real time reversing and looping wich is also cool. Do you guys know if the sans amp Acoustic DI box makes a big difference in the sound?

apparantly the sansamp DI's are quite good. they give you a boost in your acoustic sound as if you were micing your guitar....i haven't used one but have heard great things about them

I plan on getting a DL4 for delay and looping instead of my original plan of just getting a Boss DD5 Delay. I shall hopefully be getting it after this summer when I have my hundreds and hundreds of dollars from working :D
