gloss finish

i was wondering if there is any magical remidy (sp?) to give a varnish finish and gloss finish. i know kind of stupid but i really like the look of that.

I don't think there is any easy way. I know Taylor puts a SHIT LOAD of time into their gloss tops.

dont gloss your guitar, its uber complicated and if done improperly can rape your sound

It depends on what you like, but I have heard that matte finish yield better vibration off the top.

no finish yeilds best vibration, doesnt do much for the life of the instrument. there is no diff between gloss and matte
