Howdy, I just got a job and i'm looking to pick up a electric guitar, i'm not new to guitar, but I'm am fairly new to the world of electrics. I was wondering if anybody has heard anything about the Fender Deluxe Nashville telecaster. It sounds pretty nice (from what i've read, i've never played one) it's got a strat pickup inbetween two tele pickups and so it has a 5 way switch. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Oh and I am also looking into the Boss BD-2 Blues driver pedal too, if anyone has any feedbackon that too, i'd be grateful

That looks like a great guitar, and with that middle pick up you should be able to get some really cool tones. I love fender guitars so I say (after you play it A LOT) go for it!
As for the Blues Driver-2, I highly reccomend it. Great drive, very versatile, sounds great, and is well built.
And since your new to electrics, a word of advice. Your amp makes a huge difference to your sound. You can play an amazing guitar through a shitty amp, and it won't sound as good as it should, however, through a nice amp the guitar will sound how it was meant to.

thanks for the feedback, as for the amp i'm going to use my friends fender princeton amp, until I can get my own, so i'm not really worried about that yet. I've also looked at the the thinline tele (the hollow bodied tele) but it's a bit more then i'm wiling to spend.
And Filmdudes, i'm a little confused, I know Tim Reynolds is awesome, but i've failed to see the relevance,

please explain.

Haha, thanks! Yours is cool too, and that princeton amp sounds like a sweet deal, I've heard very good things about them.

yeah, the princeton amp is nice, but i'll probably end up buying a fender champion amp, and then use my friends princeton for gigs. which is still pretty nice, thank you all for the feedback.
