What to do with a Squire

Unread post by Ranting Thespian » Mon Jan 24, 2005 12:16 am

So, let's say that you are handed a Fender Squire to own . . . what would you do with it?

I'd throw it into a shredder and shoot it at Fred Durst's house.

I'd sell it to a guitar shop. You could get a couple free lunches out of one of those. Wrecking an instrument is stupid 99 times out of 100.

Now Hendrix setting the guitar on fire...that was on of the 1/100.

Or you could play the living shit out of it and show a bunch of gear elitists that in the right hands even a crappy ass guitar can sound ok.

i would just play it like its.. well a squire.. I always try to be so delicate with my martin, it would be nice to just fucking rip on a guitar without holding back at all.. i mean drag the pick all over the guitar while playing and just go ape in general :)

Pull a Clapton and tear it apart. And either add new parts to it or use its parts for other guitars, though nvmd about using its parts on other guitars cause that would make your other guitars suck. So either add new parts to make it sound good or burn it.
