has anyone ever played one? i know theyre not that high in production, but im interested to hear what one would sound like... i havent seen many make them.. i know carvin makes some, rickenbocker (or however you spell it) does... not many that i know of.

yeah, they're alright, i like acoustics better though. the chord part of stairway to heaven is played on the 12-string neck of a double-necker if i'm not mistaken, so listen to that if you want to hear what one sounds like.

im guessing more than 5/6 of the people on this board like acoustics better. im one of them.

i saw them in concert and it was quite a few songs, i was surprised. it was back in october though, so i dont really remember which ones. i think "richard manuel is dead" is definitely one of them though.

Everything but the acoustic and the solo on stairway to heaven was done on an electric 12... gibson and and epi make the double neck sg... dean makes the boca 12 which is pretty sweet cuz its also a hollowbody you can get some insane stuff on that...
