i got an amp!

i got an amp!

but i dont know how to get it working, i played it in the store and it worked great, but i dont have a clue how to get it set up and working, and the manual isnt helping at all, can someone help me? my amp is a behringer acx1000

A) Plug it into the wall
B) Plug guitar into amp
C) Rock out

everything is plugged in, but no sound is coming from the amp except for the static noise, i dont know what the deal is

ive turned all the knobs up and down and round and round
but never any sound

I bought my son a new amp this past summer.....same thing happened as you....got home, opened up the box, and nothing happened. Turns out it was a defective amp., so don't waste too much time before you bring it back and ask them to help you figure it out. It should not be that hard for you to figure out...something must be wrong.
