what drum machine should i get?

what drum machine should i get?

k so i don't know any drummers and i want to start adding percussion to my tracks. so whats the best one to get thats affordable and sounds like a real set? i hear the alesis sr-16 is pretty good but i wanted to hear some other opinions.

Alesis is good. Zoom makes great drum machines as well. Something like the Boss SP-505 that's more than a drum machine is good too. That would allow you to sample as well.

which zoom model? http://www.americanmusical.com/item--i- ... d-290.html is the only one i found......

Not sure if they still make it but the RhythmTrak 234 is a fine one.

id recomend the boss loop system, it loops your guitar part, and will allow you to make a drum part on it to loop

I'm thinking of buying a drum machine. I've had my eye on the alesis sr18. Any suggestions?

Is it user friendly? I've only used a drum machine one time before and it was a pain to navigate through
