acoustic amps

whats the difference between acoustic amps and electric amps? i mean i kinda know but was checking asking for details

they do different things, electric amps are sortof used to make a guitar sound different.

acoustic amps make the guitar sound better. make it sound different too in some cases, but it will sound better, if it doesnt, dont get it.

electric amps are the basis of good tone. a good electric amp with a crappy electric guitar will still sound good. a good electric guitar with a crappy electric amp will sound bad.

acoustic amps will also color your tone, mostly making it sound less natural. the best way to get a natural acoustic tone is to plug directly into the PA or mic your guitar.

Ultrasound amps are the most natural sounding acoustic amps.
