blues amp settings????? wrong forum

blues amp settings????? wrong forum

I can't seem to get into electric and I think It's cause of tone.

whats a good setting for playing the blues?

Kinda of tones I like, how would i get these?

baby I love you -lynard synard

cortez the killer - neil yough

dispatch -headlights

then a botton that says clean or lead.

lead - post gain 1-10 , pre gain ''

then a botton that say modern or vintige

then clean

low, mid, high, all 1-10

vintage, clean on 5, no gain, low 7, mid 5, high 4 thats my vote

if you go on to harmony central and look up the reviews for your model amp....most people usually put the settings they like and the different types of music they play. i'm sure it'll give you an idea of what kind of sounds you can get from your amp/guitar combo. i'm not sure about the other songs but i think in cortez the killer....a les paul is being used and that would account for a large part of that thick sound in the song.
