on the guitar review thread i said crap about my 2 guitars (Hofner 12 string and Godin LGX). if you want to see them click here - opinions welcome :)

Cool stuff man...the Hofner looks like a dinosaur though...but your sound clip sounded good...how old is it again?

It's cool...real cool :D , i just got fixated on the hofner...i love twelve stringers...the only thing is, the sound (after you have been playing with one for a week) kinda gets on your nerves, and then you rediscover the wonder of the simplicity of the 6...no, but how much was the godin?

the 12 strings never annoy me.. it sounds better that way in my opinion. the stone sounds nice on it hehe. (hard to play though :x ) - i was told that the shop i bought it from payed $3800 to get the godin. i payed $1000.

wow, thats cool for a godin...i hear they are real nice...

and HEY!!!

i played the stone on my 12 way back 2 months ago for my talent show audition...and that went over like nothing else :) the only problem playing the stone on 12 string, is that the note changes kinda get drowned out by all the notes just flying out of the soundhole...thats why i stuck to Chet for the big show...

i dont really use my godin unless im playing in front of people and i have to play through an amp. my hofner doesnt have a pickup. i prefer the sound of my 12 string though.

That Hofner is beautiful. Is that some bearclaw on the spruce top???? And it looks like it has a SWEET mahogany back and sides. I bet it really roars. I personally am not the biggest fan of 12 stingers, but that one really looks good.

And if I knew where you lived, you'd find a broken window and your Godin case empty tomorrow morning.

both my guitars are beasts. no clue what the hofners made of. i emailed hofner to find out though. im waiting for a reply. as for my godin, if you want ill make a recording of it w/o and w/ distortion, with the acoustic setting, and with a blend of both. i already have a sample of my hofner up there.
