Best non-Martin/Taylor acoustic brand

Unread post by CPTino3001 » Tue Feb 18, 2003 1:49 pm

I just want to see everyone's opinions on some other brands besides Martin and Taylor. I tried to include as many commonly available brands that I could think of.

Larrivee's are great.......shit!@ damn you cave! j/k. There's a million and one amazing independant guitar makers out there that are just as good and often times better than Martin and Taylor. I picked Lakewood from the ones that you listed, but another one that comes to mind is Goodall.
good, and you?

Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

30....000.... theres 2 too many zeroes on there for me at the moment... why do luthiers not make amazing guitars for affordable prices! :x    :?

because then they would not be luthiers...they would have to mass produce, lowering quality and that would make them like anybody else...

I would like to say that ovations suck! Sorry had to get that out of my systems. It just irritates me when some people I've met go on and on about how great those gaudy flat sounding fiber glass buckets are.

I've seen some real nice Ibanez and Alvarez acoustics though (alvarez yari especially)
