you use:
(left bracket here)url=http://url.goes.here/(right bracket here)guild(left bracket here)/url(right bracket here)

hope that makes sense, i can't use the real brackets (which are [ ] those btw) otherwise you wouldn't be able to see the code, so just substitute [ where it says (left bracket here) and ] where it says (right bracket here)

what do you mean they aint no martins or taylors
that larrivee is an amazing guitar
i hate an L-05 and id put it above a lot of taylors and martins in the same price range.
ive never played an L-10 but if theyre better than the one i have they must be a whole lotta guitar
Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

hahah you misunderstand. I meant it in "you ain't gonna see any Taylor or Martin pics, all you Dave fanatics"

my intention was to show that there are lots of other guitars that are just as good or even better than Taylor and Martin.

I'm falling in love with Larrivee today, for I've been reading about them all day along with other guitars. I totally believe you that the L-05 is one of the best sounding guitars out there.

My next and possibly only other guitar WILL be a Larrivee. the question is, what can I afford. They are all great, the L-03 is $1100 and is amazing but has satin finish. the L-05 has the gloss finish and the inlays, logo and whatnot $1750. The L-03 Rosewood w/cutaway and pickup is $1850. then the L-09 is Rosewood with all the fancy shit $2300. then the L-10 adds on some for fancy inlay crap $2900

so what d'ya think revelator? save up for the fancy shit, or get the L-03?
good, and you?

I've played some nice Larrivee's, and I'm not as enamoured with them. The action just felt all wrong. Maybe it was just the setup, but I think that there are better guitars out there for the price range. Just my opinion.

If you're looking at the L-05, I'd consider a Lakewood M-32 or the like. Check them out here:

http://samusic.com/guitars/lakewood.shtml

and check out a couple of reviews on the Lakewood M-32:

http://samusic.com/archives/lakewood_m32b.shtml

I didn't think the action was as good as a Taylor, no. But as I said, that might have just been the guitar I played. I'd say that before you set your heart on anything, get out there and PLAY them!

alright.

so it comes down to a couple of comparisons (I wish I was rich, I'd buy em all) Larrivee L-03 vs. Lakewood M-1 well the difference is pretty much just the price. which is L-03 - $1098 and M-1 - $1315 (pretty close)

but if you want to kick up to something nicer looking, and with Rosewood back/sides instead of Mahogany then you must compare the Larrivee L-09 with the Lakewood M-32 which are both really nice guitars. The L-09 is Sitka/Rosewood while the M-32 is Englemann/Rosewood, they both have gloss finishes obviously while the other two have satin finishes. The L-09 has more inlays and shit and its price is $2298 while the M-32 weighs in at $2085 (pretty close)

However, one is able to get an L-03RE which is Sitka/Rosewood with a Fishman Prefix Pro pickup installed for $1849. sure its satin finish and sure it doesn't have the fancy schmancy inlays but WOW that's a good list price. but you're right, I do have to go out and play 'em, but they're so far away  I got to drive 3 hours to the closest shop that has any nice guitars like these Larrivee and Lakewood.

Just for your reading pleasure, here are nice "reviews" from larrivee owners. It's a nice little read.

lil' letters from happy Larrivee owners

anymore suggestions on guitars in this price range?
