Looking to go electric
I need quick suggestions on a decent electric i can get for about $600. I currently have a really cheap, no frills, Epiphone that is shitty and costs $200.

however check out Godin. isaac got his sdxt for like... $400 and it would kill any guitar in that price range.

They're right at $600. Just make sure you get the HSS model (It has humbucking pickups)pearljammer wrote:Are they pretty cheap?jeffro wrote:Third that. (I just got a US Highway 1 strat that I love. Check em out)grock wrote:second that.crash_in_to_me wrote:fender telecaster

I fourth it. I have the 50th Anniversary Strat. I love it. Granted, it was a bit more than $600, but I do like the other Strats and Tele's that are.jeffro wrote:Third that. (I just got a US Highway 1 strat that I love. Check em out)grock wrote:second that.crash_in_to_me wrote:fender telecaster

Yeah if you can afford a higher quality guitar go for it! But that US Highway 1 is the cheapest american made strat, and is a great first electric that will last a long time.Snyder wrote:I fourth it. alright calm down. Some like strats, some don't. I get along fine with Film, we talk a lot, and I like Strats. But then again, film, you didn't have to be so harsh and negative.crash_in_to_me wrote:please kill yourselffilmdude100cms wrote:my god ur leading pearl down the wrong path!! fender sux... unless u buy a strat take everything off and hot rod it, but ur not gonna do that for 600, even my freind who has a custom strat agrees a stock fender isnt great
You can look at Gbison Les Pauls. You have to do without the carved top (and they aren't as good as a standard or studio, but still good, and better than an Epi Les Paul). Here thess guitars aren't bad:

Again, they aren't a Studio, Standard, Classic, or Custom, but they are still Gibson.
Yes, I am in a box
