that varies from amp to amp. my Marshall MG15CDR makes a pretty good acoustic tone.

a Fender Blues Jr. wont make a good acoustic tone.

I have a Peavey Ecoustic 110, and I have been very happy with its sound. Relativley cheap, but good quality.

take it from someone whos played it and thought it wasnt worth the money, you can buy an Alvarez RD20S for $200 and it would sound as good if not better than that guitar.

i own it and i love it. simple as that. things like this can never be resolved. some will like it and some wont. and all same model martins sound different. so maybe i got lucky or like bad sound. either one but i own it and i like it. and u ask if it is a good buy and i say yes.

i didnt say it had a bad sound. its just not worth $500. actually its not worth more than $300. when you buy that guitar youre paying for the name on the headstock.

Yep. that's what it comes down to. I love my DX-1 to death, but I could've gotten more for the money. I just like martin's so i got one
