This guitar was ordered and purchased by myself, as a fan of Dave Matthews with real intention of learning to play at a level worthy of such a fine instrument. Life goes on, and I've never progressed past simple strumming.
I hope this guy doens't mean that he bought this and then picked up a chord book at the local music shop.

I still don't see the attraction of having some other musicians name on YOUR guitar. Not to mention how many amazing guitars you could get with 6k.

i dont want my guitars to be collectors items unless theyre made to what i want, one of a kind type thing. the DM3MD is not in any way worth it in my eyes.
i honestly dont see the attraction except for the paduak piece that makes the back pretty. other than that, theres nothing i like about the guitar.
do you realize that you could buy a custom made guitar from a small luthier for $6000 that probably sounds better than any $10000 Taylor or $100000 Martin? its just not worth it.

I never said it was worth it. I would only buy one if money was not an option to me. I would much rather have a guiatr built to my specs.
