I played their first guitar that came out (forget the name), but WOW! It felt like a good well built electric, and when I fooled around with the many guitar styles on it, I wanted it bad! The martin acoustics sounded like martin acoustics. The les pauls sounded like the les pauls. I loved the stiar thing it had as well. The guitar is mouth watering, I think.

It isn't a great live guitar, but a hell of a studio. You just need one guitar to do so many other ones that sound just like they really do! It's amazing what Line 6 does, I think. (I love my pod pro too :-D

Saw this on the Line6 website today for the first time. Don't know if I'd really want one...

But it would be pretty cool to use the virtual capo/alternate tunings to play some Raised B stuff of Dave's without leaving the first position.

Don't know why they didn't make a true solid-body like the Chet, considering you have to compensate for the natural sound coming from the strings by turning up you volume when playing in alternate tunings.

Plus, I think it's just an ugly guitar. If it looked more like a chet, even one of the early-90s ones (w/ soundhole), they'd have something.

I was also impressed with the ability to lower the E A D strings down an octave to make a virtual bass. The guy in this demo makes it sound like he's got a bass player accompanying him. http://images.misupply.com/downloads/Li ... tic700.wmv

At first I was impressed by the demo mov, but then listening to the mp3s, I am not so impressed.. 'cause they definitely sound like cheap imitations with the exception of the "Jumbo" and hell I should hope it can sound like a normal acoustic guitar..

wow. i'd would REALLY like to be able to try one of these out to see if it's as good as it seems.

you could have a baritone, raised b, standard and alternately tuned guitar all for the same performance

and with the ability to save custom guitar setups it seems like it would actually be a great guitar to have live. it'd be no more hassle than what lead guitar players have to go though with all their effects pedals.

i'm QUITE interested.
