Need advice on buying an acoustic amp?

Unread post by jason » Sun Apr 25, 2004 3:33 am

I can't decide what kind of acoustic amp to buy that's no more than $1000. I play live gigs and I need something that sounds great and has the watts to play shows with. The guitar that I play are Gibson Chet SST and Taylor 400 series.

First off, welcome to the DMBTabs!! Good to have you here.

Try Ultrasound....they get amazing reviews. And everyone that owns one just loves it. Pure acoustic sound.

The Ultrasound Pro 100 (100 watt) is only $799.00 and the Ultrasound Pro 200 is $1,098.00 (just about your $1,000 limit). Free shipping also!

I'm getting the Ultrasound AG50-DS2....actually I'm ordering it today :D

either that or an swr california or strawberry blonde. SWR and Ultrasound are the two heavy hitters, but since you have a Taylor most people think that the Ultrasound would be the way to go.

danny, let me know what you think of the AG50-DS2. that's the amp i want.
