what is the pedal that gives you the ability to loop and synthesize and how much do these cost??

I don't know about synthesize but...here's some loop samplers:

Boomerang 4MB Phrase Sampler Plus ~ $499
Boss RC-20 ~ $280
Line 6 DL4 ~ $250

I have the DL4, I used to have the RC-20 but it didn't really fit my needs and I just think it's an all around piece of dung. Boss could have done so much more with it...the Boomerang, I'm pretty positive Phil Keaggy uses it and can do some amazing stuff with it. :)
