I've joined the Martin Team.....

I made a 3 hour visit to Guitar Center this weekend. I must have played like 15 guitars while I was there. Anyway, I kept coming back this 000-15. It was in my price range and played better than several of the more expensive ones that I looked at. Jeeez, the sound difference between it and my Takamine is amazing!! I just had to throw this out there. I haven't been able to put it down since.

I agree. I played some really nice Taylors, but they were all way out of my price range. This baby had the nicest most playable neck of all the ones that I could afford. I don't even need to get it set up. I wouldn't change a thing about it!

Congratulations!! I had a Martin DR that i absolutely loved...great guitar for the money. I recently purchased a 514ce, but only because i got such a great deal on it. Martins have such a nice deep, warm sound. Taylors just offer an alternative (brighter).

Enjoy!!

Thanks guys. It came down to a choice between the 000-15 and D-16 and the 000-15's playability won out.

Yeah, I like the fuller bass sound that the Martin seems to have over the Taylors, which is good for someone who fingerpicks (like me).

Yea, they had two really nice D-15's there. The mahogany tops are great.
