Anyone have an opinion on this guitar?? I can get one for a decent price, but I can't play one...no one around here carries Alvarez guitars. They look the shit, the only thing I don't like is no fret markers..but I could get over that in a hurry. So yeah, anyone own or have played one of these sweet looking guitars.

Thanks
Matt

How much can you get it for? I own a PD80sc that i love, one of the best guitars i've ever played. I've played a few models from the artist series and they've sounded great. Does the one you're looking at come with electronics? Alvarez has the system 600T which is awesome and even has a built in tuner. I'd definately try to play one before i got it though, however i don't think you'd be disappointed if you just went ahead and bought it.

Well right now I can get if for 284.00 Canadian. Which is less American i do believe. I figure that is a steal of a deal for a solid top guitar, especially since I've only heard good things about Alvarez. This one doesn't have electronics, but that is no big deal to me. I wish I could play one but no one around where I live carries Alvarez.

Thanks for your reply,
Matt

I have a 250 alvarez, and until the neck fell off, it was one of the nicest-playing guitars I've ever owned or played. It just *felt* right. Sound wasn't bad, but it's no Martin.
