My W65 will be a custom order. Grafted Walnut, Celtic or Cindy inlay on the fretboard, no cutaway, no electronics. Dave has a Cindy inlay on his W65 and 914. I always thought it looked a little feminine. If I can get Taylor to put the Celtic Taylor T on the back, like my 810B, then I'll get the Celtic inlay, but I don't think they'll do it because that was done only for the year 2000 Legends of the Fall series. After I sell the 810, I couldn't bare not having a Taylor to play so I just bought a year 2000 314K. It will take months to get a custom W65 from Taylor and I don't want to beat up my DM3MD too much.

well...... I don't like taylors!!!!!

I just don't like the way the fretboards feel. I like the more natural martin feeling and softer tone. I tried several taylors before deciding on a martin D-15 and I think I made the right choice in my price range.

I do want to get a custom martin when and if I can ever afford it, make my own inlay design, my own sig on the fretboard with a awesome drawing on the back.... ohhhh it is going to be awesome.

i played a D-15 yesterday and i was disgusted to say the least. it was horrible. it sounded so incredibly bad that i wanted to smash it right then and there but i didnt want to pay for it. it is a sin in the guitar world.

Yeah, that was my first feeling when I picked up that weird, metal-looking top guitar martin makes. I saw before me smashing it through the window, followed by the Sam Ash security guards escorting me to the "questioning" room. 8)

Ahh, yes, and it also feels like freeze-dried poo....with a slight metallic glisten to it. :? It was by far the worst guitar I had ever seen and played.
