cool, im not lookin to buy yet, at least not this year, but definitely worth looking into.

i hope people will look at this topic again lol, but im not sure im going to be able to get the godin.. its kind of expensive and it is my first electric.. im not that good, but ive been learning pretty fast (especially since ive been teaching myself). if you want to know how good this guitar is, i went to sam ash yesterday, picked up an expensive gibson les paul and i thought it was firewood. thats how much of a step up godin is. before the godin was being sold for $2600, not $1800 as i thought. the list price is probably around $3000. i can get it for $800. anyone got any advice? (plz tell me to get it and reasons why, if i dont get the godin im not getting anything else.. once you play a godin you wont want anything else :lol:

wait, if i understood your post correctly, you can get that godin for 800 when it goes for 3000, and you have to ask ADVICE on that?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!??! GET DOWN TO THE STORE NOW!!! CAMP OUTSIDE THE NIGHT JUST TO MAKE SURE SOMEONE ELSE DOESN"T RUN OFF WITH IT!

yeah you'd better but it!!!

If you know that you're going to seriously spend time on the guitar, trust me, it's well worth the investment. You don't want to find yourself saying in a few months, dang, I need a better guitar, I should have gotten the Godin. Large investments are ALWAYS the best bet IF your dedication is sincere.
