That was very informative and that guy is dedicated. Thanks.
I have never heard a guitars sound explained as resonances, and there is an awful lot of quotationed words in his explanations. If he know why a soundport does what it does, he watered down his explanation. At first I thought he was using "resonances" as a synonym for frequencies, but it becomes clear as one reads on he is not. He did say that the port decreased the output over a broad range, which is the only part of what he said that makes sense to me.

I still wish I had a better explanation but thank you
