I'm really not sure what to do now. Got an offer on both guitars now, $100 less than I was expecting/hoping for. The other guy ships the Landola free of charge, and it comes with a case. Gonna head to the guitar store here today and see if they have any Landola guitars.

Well, they didn't, but the guy at the store recommended me a czech guitar called BSG. It was cheaper than a Martin DM, but he said it's comparable to a D28. That's pretty outrageous...I played it and liked it a lot though..
the guy also complained about Landola guitars, and said they stopped selling them because they had too many problems with them. But then again, he also said Martins are crap and only expensive because of their history. He also said Taylors are rubbish.
I would still like to try the Landola, but I don't think it'll be possible to get a hold of one without travelling pretty far to see it. And then there's the possibillity of getting one from the US. The price will add up because of the taxes and shipping, but it'll still be a lot cheaper than getting a Martin here.

Yeah, I saw that at their website. I'm pretty sure I won't get one, cause the resell value would suck compared to a Martin anway. I just hate guitar stores though, I don't think I've ever been to one and walked away with the feeling of having been given honest and good advice.
I don't remember if I've written this earlier, but the store in Canada was really expensive compared to the US as well. You guys don't know how lucky you are. I really want a D15, but no stores even have that one here (though I can get pretty much any other martin). I found a Martin DM for $1100 or so, gotta consider that one too.
And a friend of mine who ordered a Sitar from India or something said it broke during the transport and he didn't even get it covered from the insurance. And the toll and VAT almost tripled the price. Bah.

Don't you have a family member, a neighbour or a friend that is coming from the US to Norway?
I can probably find someone to bring a guitar from the States on June/July. You just have to buy a ticket and visit Portugal...

Ok, a little update:
I've sold my guitars for $900 or so.
I'm looking at a used Martin DM (4 years old) with a fishman pickup installed, which a guy will sell me for $1100. However, at first he said at was a D1, and when he sent pictures it was clearly a DM, which is a lot cheaper. It made me a little worried about trusting him, but he said he could ship it to his sister who studies here as well, and I can meet up with her and give her the money (and he seems like an allright guy).
A brand new DM (without a pickup) will cost me $1150. Do you guys think it's worth getting the used one because of the pickup, or should I just get a new one for almost the same price? He says his main instrument is bass, so he has hardly been playing the guitar at all. It's supposedly in mint condition, no dents or scratches, and it does look nice in the pictures he sent.
I won't be performing or anything, so the pickup would just be for extra conviniency if I'm recording something for fun, or if I'm playing at home and want some more sound.
Also, I haven't actually played a DM yet, but I've played the OOOM, and I liked how it played, but I want a dreadnought.

Where are you checking the price of a new DM?
Look at this store in Germany:
http://www.thomann.de/thoiw10_martingui ... dinfo.html
I think it ships to Norway. I've ordered my new amp there on Sunday and on Wednesday morning it was here. Unfortunately I work away from home and haven't seen it yet...
