i respectfully disagree.
thats fine, what is your opinion then
I agree when talking about the 110. But the 2xx and up I think are good for the money. For 700 bucks I think a 214 is a good buy. It has solid construction, no laminates, good wood, just no ES which is fine with me. Mine has low action and a very bassy sound. It feels solid to me and full in my hands, and it stays in tune very well. Compared to the taks, i think the taks in that price range felt cheaper as well as the ovations, ibanez, other GC shlop. I also played it against Martins and i felt that they were too inconsistent. Perhaps it was my GC's negligence, but I do'nt think that much variance is due to negligence on new guitars.

I payed 2k for a Santa Cruz Vintage artist and I love it.
Adirondack spruce top, mahogony back and sides. incredible tone,
and it's so damn light.

martin or larrivee, which ever feels right when you play it.

you cant go wrong with either, but Taylors are about as over rated as A-Rod.

martin vs. taylor is such a stupid argument. it's like red and white wine. just pick one and drink it.
