I agree when talking about the 110. But the 2xx and up I think are good for the money. For 700 bucks I think a 214 is a good buy. It has solid construction, no laminates, good wood, just no ES which is fine with me. Mine has low action and a very bassy sound. It feels solid to me and full in my hands, and it stays in tune very well. Compared to the taks, i think the taks in that price range felt cheaper as well as the ovations, ibanez, other GC shlop. I also played it against Martins and i felt that they were too inconsistent. yea man. martin's are overpriced too and i'm a martin owner. plus they don't all come set up out of the factory. i love my martin, wouldn't trade it, but i gots nothing against taylors either.i like tictacs wrote:srslots81 wrote:martin or larrivee, which ever feels right when you play it.
