re routing means changing wires but him and i want a humbucker in there and that means cutting it up

theres actually a nice one in West Palm Beach and theres alot of old people in it all the time.. which i supposed is alot better than alot of stupid kids. and the people there are .. nice. im gonna check it out unless you guys have horror stories about GC to tell me.

you DO NOT need to re-Route your guitar!!!
i suggested two beautiful single coils that i think will work perfectly. all you do is buy em and plug em in. rerouting a humbucker into the equation comlicates everything and isnt worth the dough.

i think single coils sound like shit for jazz. you could put a texas special in the bridge position, but i dont know of a single good single coil that is right for jazz.

you can definetly work 2 single coils for jazz... you cant goto either end, meaning full neck or full bridge, but when you mix the 2 it will in essence be a humbucker

no but he wants blues too, so hes getting a texas special, so theres 1 slot open for jazz

yup.. my dad says we can do it.. all i have to do is chop open that space a little for the humbucker right?

hmm well i use a dremel tool with a router bit, so its somewhat different, not cuttin through thick wood.
