poly's are so wierd if you've been playing something else for a while. but once you get use to them, oh-so-great.

get one of each and see which one you like. i used poly forever until i accidentally picked up a set of nanos one time. i've never gone back to polys since...

AHHHH I revived this post just to say how much I love my polys. I got some today and I LUVVVVVVV them.

I dont like the slick feel of polys its too hard to play satellite on them or any other single notes song in that case.

Nah, I thought the same thing for a while.. but you get used to the feel and it's ok. After you break them in a lil they're fine.

i think theyre just dandy. if i could marry them, i wouldnt. however, i would invite them to the backseat of a chrysler.

I just put some polys on my D-15 and I'm gonna have to say that I like like those D'Addario EJ-16s a hell of alot more. Even though they last longer, the polys have to much of a weird almost plasticine sound to me. I just like regular strings better myself.
