I think the fretboard is fine, as I mentioned the action was a little high on mine so I had to have it lowered a little.
I think I paid $1,050 from the Nazareth Music Store. I did the tour of the factory and bought the guitar while I was down there.
I highly recommend the guitar, my guitar teacher, who's is a big Martin fan will argue that it is almost the same guitar as Martin's expensive lines except for the cosmetics.
