I played an Ovation CK047 FKOA the other day, and I absolutely love it. Plugged in, it rivals the sound of my Tak plugged in, and the unplugged sound is fuller than I expected. Any thoughts?

I've got an Ovation, as you'll see in my signature, and I'm happy with it. A lot of people don't like Ovations, but I don't think their as bad as a lot of people make them out to be. Especially for the price sometimes. Granted, mine doesn't have as full a sound, since it is a thin-body, but it still has a much fuller sound than you would expect.
My only REAL complaint about Ovations is they can get annoying to play sitting down at times. Aside from that, I think it is a decent guitar, especially for gigging and such.

So I went to another G.C. today, and my struggle continues. I found there the guitar I currently own (Takamine EF341SC) on clearance for $599 because it had a couple nicks in the top (nothing really to speak of, nothing you can see from more than a few feet away). This guitar usually goes for about a grand. Now, in my search for a backup, I wasn't looking for anything that sounded great unplugged, because I was going to be plugging it in 90% of the time, so I wasn't worried about finding something with a different sound or anything, just something that sounded halfway decent. Now my question is this: would I be stupid to NOT buy this one? I absolutely love the guitar, it's why I have one as my primary. This would not only give me a good backup in terms of amplified sound, but also a "spare copy" of my primary guitar to take out and about more often (beach, parties, etc). It's only $100 more than I was going to spend, what do you guys think?
