i've heard for how monumentally cheap it is, it is actually quite decent. i think i have seen it as low as $39 for the full size, $29 for the smaller one. but if it can stay in decent tune and doesnt sound liek complete crap it cant be a bad deal.

Yea I use it as a walking stick when hiking and it has so many beer bottle labels stuck to it, but it gives it character. Ive played 100$ guitars that played worse.

The guitar arrived today while I was at work. I don't get off until 11:30 tonight. I'm kind of excited despite its price. I'll let you know how it is.

Today is a rogue 6-string bass. It got pretty good reviews on musiciansfriend, and its 50$ off the original price. Might be a good deal, I dont know much about basses.

Ok so on the whole the guitar is a piece of crap. It will be good as a beater, and sounds pretty decent out fo the box. It might be made of plastic
Not bad though for 40 bucks. I have a feeling I'm goin to be spending alot of money on this website.

im in the same boat, I was looking at the Dean Playmate EAB (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=519943) because it looks nice, is cheap and got decent reviews, but my hunt continues. I dont have 200$ to drop on a bass right now.

that guitar is a piece of shit...i don't mean like a little bit of a piece of shit, i mean that guitar used to reside in someone's ass and was shit out, cleaned up, air freshened and put on the market. i had it for my first electric. i still have an ibanez, but i upgraded to the axd 82p. much better guitar and only 150 more dollars or so.

not the deal of the day, but its a 51 replica squier.
yes, squiers are POS, but someone might want a cheap electric to play with, and with a little sandpaper to the head stock, it can look pretty cool.

$99
