holy geez! im gonna get a job there and sell stuff on the side.. you could make total bank selling stuff to people for like 15%-45% off... depending on how much you get it for
i dont think they encourage that

he's WAY OFF on those numbers. I had a friend who was a manager at a GC here. keep in mind GC gets their stuff for cheaper than just about any other shop, and they purchased for nowhere near that % off retail.
It was much closer to 10%-20% off of guitars and big name stuff. the only things with a huge % off were things liek slides, and random items that should be sold for $4 but they charge $20.

to say its an easy 40 - 75% off everythign is just bullshit and dont get your hopes up.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

I dont mind listening to people who arent that good, its that everyone is out of tune and playing at the same time that drives me pretty crazy. Still wouldnt mind a decent discount though.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

I can only stand being in the acoustic room. Its always nice and quiet in there. I like to keep it that way so I never really use a pick when Im in there. The room with all the expensive guitars doesnt even have a door so people just go in there and take out whatever guitar they want.

That and I like to think Im more impressive on acoustic then electric so I gotta stick to my guns. And getting a salesman to sit down and jam when the store is dead is nice too
