Hi all,
I understand why some wouldnt like this guitar. I just really enjoy small guitars and this one is prime. I have had a D-35, a couple of D-15's, and even had a 00-18v for a night but none fit right. I am not a small guy either at 6'1". I just find it comfortable to be able to wrap my body around the guitar while I am sitting on the couch. I do all of my playing sitting down. I also only play fingerstyle and this is the only Martin size 5 with a 1-3/4" nut. Sure the Sting connection and limited edition make it cool but I am sure it makes it a little more expensive too. I paid $2400. It is roughly the size of a LXM.

well i personally dont think the fact that there are only 100 of them should contribute to your reason for purchasing it, nor should the artists who play it. i also dont think that i should have to tag an imo onto the end of everything i type for people to know its my opinion. my opinion shouldnt affect his guitar buying. its not for me but if its what he wants than good for him. dont get scrumply brock... hahbbatsell wrote:because it's 1 of 100, and it's a sting signature guitar. christ, let him buy in peace for god's sakespraisedave wrote:i dont know why you would spend that much money on something with "mini" in the name... but if youre into that more power to ya

It most certainly contributes to its value as an investment, as well as a musical instrument, and your post was ridiculously condescending if you take a step back and read it as a third party, which is the only thing I was trying to say.praisedave wrote:well i personally dont think the fact that there are only 100 of them should contribute to your reason for purchasing it, nor should the artists who play it. i also dont think that i should have to tag an imo onto the end of everything i type for people to know its my opinion. my opinion shouldnt affect his guitar buying. its not for me but if its what he wants than good for him. dont get scrumply brock... hahbbatsell wrote:because it's 1 of 100, and it's a sting signature guitar. christ, let him buy in peace for god's sakespraisedave wrote:i dont know why you would spend that much money on something with "mini" in the name... but if youre into that more power to ya
