no no, the guitar was already here
then you overpayed a lot
It costs the dealer alot more also. So it doesn't matter where it is when he bought it, if it was imported it's going to cost alot more.

Who cares, let him enjoy it.

I'm from oz too, and I can assure you Mabufo we all have television (and pet kangaroos).

Pimpernel, sorry to say but I also think you got ripped off since you can buy a much better Australian guitar for that price without paying for hidden shipping costs. Maton make some of the best acoustic guitars in the world, why waste your money on some overrated American crap?( I'm gonna get shot for saying that :D )

congratulations on your purchase anyway- it's always great getting new gear- I'm sure it will serve you well!

Not regulary... more a casual beachgoer.

Aussie guitars are really underrated- Maton and Cole Clark are some of the bigger names- check out their websites. I'm pretty sure Jack Johnson uses Maton and I know Ben Harper uses both of the above brands.

Evey Hammond: I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking on the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.

dude, let him enjoy his guitar

and Im not trying to make him hate his guitar or anything, just letting him know that he kinda got screwed on the deal. I mean he payed around $100.00 shy of double what you payed for the same guitar. I dont care where you live, the shipping wouldnt be that much, he got screwed. Unless he left out it being a cutaway/acoustic, like I said before. Even then it wasnt a good deal, just not as bad.

Look, "dude", did I ever say anything negative about him or his guitar? No. Get off me.

you said you were bored with your ibanez so you bought a taylor. if you have two maton's, why would you give a shit about and ibanez? anyway, you have a taylor now and if you like it, thats great. if you don't, maybe your dealer would take it back on a trade in?
