Teego, what would you like to know? I spent a good two months looking for a guitar I liked best, and this one was my favorite. I didn't like the look of the Alvarez's, but this one sounded just as great. I took off the factory strings and put on Elixirs because I'm biased towards them, and it sounds even better now. The look is amazing, my guitar buds say they love the color of the wood (Koa from Hawaii). It's much easier to play than my Ibanez PF I've had for 3 years.
Sorry, I can't record anything since I don't have the equipment, though I may purchase something a little down the line.
I'm not really great in writing reviews, but in my opinon this is the best guitar I could get for the money. If there's anything you guys want to know, just ask, since there's barely any info about the guitar online.

Well, did you play other guitars that were out of your price range?
For instance, the one I picked up felt easier to play than the Taylor 614ce that I played. There's over a $2000 difference between the two guitars. Though the Taylor might not have been adjusted, the Takamine played beautifully never the less.
Which ones did you compare it to?

I played several guitars in that room. The EG544 sounded thuddier compared to that Taylor I thought, and sounded thuddy overall compared to some other higher end Martins. EDIT: as far as playability is concerned, the Takamine is up there with the best
I switched the factory strings, like I said, to Elixirs, and the sound changed pretty moderately. It no longer sounds 'thuddy', but actually very bright, which is one of the reasons why I like Elixirs. And man, plug this into a nice acoustic amp with that stuff...

I actually just purchased one yesterday. It played great for about a day and then the strings died. Fucking D'Addarios....
