Fatjack, sure he's THIS concerned about his guitar, if a crack just develops it could be a sign of bigger problems.
yeah, like covetousness
 covetousness is if he wanted someone else's guitar. nice try though.
You are correct App's.

Yep. Small cracks lead to bigger cracks. See if you can get it filled.

its an instrument, not a piece of art. did you see what happened to my taylor? yeah, i was pissed as all hell, but i filleld the crack myself with epoxy and it plays as if nothing was ever wrong in the first place. a little personality never hurt a guitar.

don't worry about it.

seriously, it took me like 5 minutes to find. I mean it's cool that you want to take care of your guitar, but a little scratch won't do anything. I've dropped countless heavy bottles on my guitar and have gotten deeper scratches/cuts/gouges and it hasn't affected the guitar at all. Just makes it look worn and torn and played and loved.

If you had read my earlier post you would have seen that I found out that it's just a lacquer check and that's not a big deal, but worth keeping an eye on incase it develops into something more.

What concerned me was that it was around the rosette. Sorry for caring about my instrument. Jesus.

FJ can't dig his way out of this one. I'd love to see him try though. I picture it similar to a fish floundering while they are sitting on the hot dock.
